What do your contributions to the ABPP Foundation do for psychology?

1. Fund Early Career Psychologists efforts to earn Board Certification
2. Fund Training Directors to earn Board Certification
3. Fund Psychologists from Diversity Backgrounds to earn Board Certification
4. Fund Micro-grants for Community Service to Marginalized Groups
5. Fund Education of Early Career Psychologists on Board Certification

In just over 1 year, the Foundation has awarded 21 grants to training directors to obtain board certification. The project will increase the socialization of graduate students, interns, and post-docs into seeking Board Certification as a part of their career development. We've received another $10,000 from outside funders again this coming year to continue the program.

The Foundation is considering grants to further ABPP psychologists who volunteer their time to improve the lives of children who are victims of bullying and other marginalizing experiences. If the program is implemented, it will support small grants to these citizen ABPPs to further that work.

Giving to the Foundation promotes not just ABPP Board Certification, it supports programs that highlight the excellence of those with ABPPs. Consider giving through clicking here, and register for the reception so you can observe the Foundation highlight its awardees. Come celebrate excellence in health service and general applied psychology.

Promoting Board Certification is promoting prevention and quality behavioral healthcare.
Warmest regards,

Kevin D. Arnold, Ph.D., ABPP
Chair, ABPP Foundation
