Jeff Shafar is a Digital Marketing Strategist helping to build ABPP’s social media presence.
Our goals are to build a library of content on YouTube to drive general public traffic to the ABPP website to find board certified Specialists, showcase Specialists’ accomplishments and specialty boards activities on Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn, and to educate the public and other professionals on the importance and value of ABPP board certification.
We want to feature you!
View Jeff’s instructional video about how to submit content and get involved!
Below are two kinds of short videos that we are looking to receive from ABPP Specialists, which would be edited and formatted for ABPP’s social media outlets:
1. Question & Answer: Specialists will choose one question from their field of work that they know the general public may be misinformed about and answer it in short form.
- For example: How do I know if I am depressed? What is a functional neurological disorder? What should I do if I think I have a concussion?
- Feel free to film as many Q&A videos as you wish. I will gladly take and use any and all that you send.
2. Member Highlight: This video series showcases ABPP members sharing their experience on how becoming board certified helped their professional career and why they recommend professionals in the field pursue board certification. Specialists will answer the following three questions:
- What inspired you to get board certified?
- How has board certification contributed to your professional activities?
- What advice would you give to psychologists or trainees interested in pursuing board certification?
