ABPP Foundation Seeks New Board of Directors Members
The ABPP Foundation, a 501(c)(3) supporting board certification through scholarships, is seeking nominations and self-nominations for its Board of Directors for 2027.
Board Role: Directors secure financial resources and partnerships and oversee scholarship policies supporting board certification across ABPP specialties.
Expectations:
- Attend 12 monthly virtual board meetings.
- Serve on at least one committee.
- Help secure financial resources for the scholarships available through the Foundation.
- Contribute annually toward 100% Director donation participation (suggested: $250).
Term: Four years, up to two consecutive terms.
Eligibility: ABPP board-certified psychologist, good standing, current attestation.
Deadline: 6:00 PM ET, October 16, 2026.
Timeline: Election results announced by November 30, 2026; new terms begin January 1, 2027.
