Scholarship Description
Dr. Beth N. Rom-Rymer has established a scholarship for psychologists seeking board certification in psychopharmacological psychology. Through her generous donation to the ABPP Foundation, Beth N. Rom-Rymer, PhD, ABPP Prescribing Psychologist Scholarship Fund was created. This fund is provided to assist applicants by reimbursing them for expenses incurred in the process of becoming board certified. Applicants may be at any point in their professional career.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for a scholarship award, the individual needs to:
- Be doctoral level licensed psychologist who is eligible for ABPP board certification in Psychopharmacological Psychology.
- Hold membership in at least one professional psychology organization, such as APA or one of its divisions/societies, or a state or regional psychology organization or chapter.
- Have applied to the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) for board certification in psychopharmacological psychology and successfully completed it in the last six (6) months.
- Each award will be in the amount equal to the Oral Exam fees; current amount is $450 and payable upon becoming board certified.
