Scholarship Description
A scholarship fund to support specialty certification in Serious Mental Illness Psychology (ABSMIP) and currently supported by a grant from ABSMIP and APA Division 18. Each award will be in the amount of $450 equal to the ABPP Oral Exam Fee, and payable upon becoming board certified in ABSMIP.
Eligibility Requirements
All applicants must be doctoral-level, licensed psychologists. Upon receiving written notification from the American Board of Serious Mental Illness Psychology confirming successful completion of all certification requirements as a specialist in serious mental illness psychology, applicants will become eligible for the fund.
The ABSMIP Scholarship is open year-round.
