The ABCCAP is a specialty board of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Successful completion of the board certification process is a strong statement of a psychologist’s competence in his or her area of specialization. Board certification in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology focuses on verification of education, training, and experience in the specialty as well as demonstration of the foundational and functional competencies of the specialty.

If you are a psychologist interested in board certification in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, please get started today. If you are involved in educating and training psychology students in a predoctoral, internship, or postdoctoral clinical child and adolescent psychology setting, we invite you to consider ABCCAP board certification as a demonstration of your competence and as a model of professional development.
